What is your name, title, credentials, and specialty?

I am Lyle Almburg, a Physical Therapy Assistant at Mangiarelli Rehabilitation. I specialize in sports rehabilitation, strength and balance training, and joint replacement rehabilitation.

What brought you to Mangiarelli Rehabilitation?

I came to Mangiarelli Rehabilitation because I wanted to work under a family practice and expand my skills working under and with several skilled clinicians.

How long have you worked here?

I started at Mangiarelli Rehabilitation in July 2023.

Can you briefly describe your role at Mangiarelli Rehabilitation?

I am a staff physical therapist assistant specializing in sports injury rehabilitation, joint replacement rehabilitation, and strength and balance training. I work to improve and restore function to people’s lives with physical interventions and exercise.

What is your favorite part of your job?

The most rewarding aspect of my job is restoring function and assisting people in accomplishing their goals.

What do you like to do in your free time?

I stay active with exercise and sports, camping, concerts, shooting pool, and being outdoors.

What do you wish people knew about physical therapy?

I wish people knew that physical therapy is a lifelong process with exercise being an integral part of physical and mental wellbeing.
