I am Drena Smith, the Office Manager at Mangiarelli Rehabilitation.

What brought you to Mangiarelli Rehabilitation?

I worked with Paula, our owner, when we were both at Keystone Rehabilitation. I stayed on with Paula when she opened Mangiarelli Rehabilitation as a family-owned practice.

How long have you worked at Mangiarelli Rehabilitation?

I’ve worked 22 years in physical therapy office management: 12 years with Keystone Rehabilitation and 10 years with Mangiarelli Rehabilitation.

Can you briefly describe your role at Mangiarelli Rehabilitation?

My role encompasses front desk duties and patient services, including administrative, human resources, and accounts payable.

Can you describe your specialty (or specialties)?

My specialty is dealing with the public.

What is your favorite part of your job?

My favorite part of my job is the people, seeing patients improve, progress, and benefit from our services.

What do you like to do in your free time?

I like to spend time with my family and friends, travel, and take trips to the Casino.

What do you wish people knew about physical therapy?

I wish people knew how physical therapy, in many cases, can resolve pain and discomfort and resolve without surgery in certain cases.
